Our Client a Leading Award Winning Digital Media Agency is looking for a highly skilled Computational Designer.

The main purpose of the role is to prototype, design, and build graphic user interfaces (GUIs) for software development, Web forms, and other applications.

As well as having a focus on Interactive Design, the Computational Designer usesobject-oriented programming principles and standard frameworks/patterns in order to programmatically create and enhance the user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conceive and model user interface prototypes based on collected user requirements, test cases, and developmental objectives.
• Build graphics, slides, audio, videos, and animation for corporate products
• Conceive and create interactive applications for use in demos, corporate presentations, business sites, and educational materials.
• Code, install, and debug user interfaces using appropriate tools or editors.
• Document design, testing, and requirements-gathering processes and procedures.
• Catalogue, enter, and store multimedia applications into company databases/content management system.
• Diagnose and fix problems with existing Web and multimedia applications.

Essential Skills:

• development experience - minimum of 2 years as a professional programmer.
• Knowledge of digital design, animation, video design, and Web graphics,GUI prototyping tools, software design, Web development technologies, and protocols, includingHTTP, SOAP, XML/REST.
• Understand design patterns, such as MVC, Observer
• Experience in OO, SDLC and development methodologies
• Explain and use interfaces, overrides, polymorphism, encapsulation, aggregation, cohesion and coupling
• Expert use of Flash CS4/Flash10/AIR framework, HTML, DHTML, CSS, Javascript and cross-browser concerns
• Expert in developing Flash applications that participate in a client/server model
• Experience in gathering and analyzing business requirements.
