Our Client, an International Market Leading Financial Institution is seeking an exceptional technical leader to join their ranks and head up a newly created team working with portal and user interface development.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing technical leadership, reviews, mentoring and coaching for team members
- Lead the delivery of large scale insurance web applications
- Oversee analysis, design, estimation, development & testing activities undertaken by the team of Java A/P's
- Collaborating with Project Managers to maximise development capacity.
- Producing innovative user interfaces based on user research and design standards
To be considered for this role, you will possess:
- Extensive prior experience delivering large web applications using Java J2EE technologies such as JSF, JSP or Portal (JSR168)
- Previous experience in leading a team in developing customer or partner websites
- Experience gained within the Financial Services space
- Strong team leadership skills and the ability to develop and support relationships as well as mentoring, influencing and motivation
- Experience in concurrently managing/leading 2-4 projects at any one time and a team of 7
