Leading Austrailian Institution client requires an experienced Senior Information Security Consultant to join their organisation and work as part of the Infrastructure Information Security team, taking a lead consultative role in the Information Security field.
In this role you will have an ability and willingness to act in both a "hands off" consultative role, but also undertake hands on activities as required.
The key requirements for this role include:
Minimum 10 years IT experience, with at least 5 years in Security design/architecture/consultancy.
Strong proven experience in the design/build of enterprise-level infrastructure security architecture, and development of appropriate design documentation.
Hands on experience with security operational technologies used for Vulnerability Management, Security Event Monitoring, Security Policy Compliance, and End Point Protection.
Proven experience acting as the technical lead, and working closely with the Project Management Office, Technology Vendors and internal IT teams, to deliver time critical security technologies and process initiatives.

Strongly preferred competencies include:
Degree in IT or related field and/or Security certifications (CISSP/CISA)
Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
