This is an exiting opportunity to join for a strategic risk, security and compliance manager to join this reputable organisation.
Working closely with a number of groups in the business you will assist technology in the definition, development and maintenance of the appropriate security and risk management policies. There is a strong focus on client relationship management and negotiation skills.
You will have significant experience at a management level in risk management concepts, business continuity management, and formulating policy and have a understanding of technology life cycle. You will demonstrate your strong communication skills to effectively liaise with and influence management and possess the ability to learn new concepts and think outside the square.
This role is responsible for, but not limited to:
- Drive and facilitate risk and issue management.
- Provide consulting and strategic advice regarding risk, security and compliance.
- Implementation of risk management process documentation.
- Compliance reporting and audits
You will have:
- Strong experience in Operating or Project Risk Manager roles within banking or financial services industries.
- Previous experience in the implementation or extensive usage of risk industry standards such as; AS4360, COBIT etc.
- A comprehensive understanding and demonstrated experience with a project management methodology
- Ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation
- Excellent communication skills including presentation skills and documentation abilities.
- Attention to detail in ensuring methodologies are followed/implemented
- Excellent conflict resolution skills
The ideal candidate will have come from a background heavily focused on Risk Management. You will have excellent stakeholder management skills and outstanding communication and presentation skills.
