Security Assurance Manager
This role is responsible for managing and leading the Security Assurance team. Security Assurance is responsible for delivering Penetration Testing services to the organisation in order to identify potential security vulnerabilities in projects and systems.
As the manager you will be required to ensure that this service is delivered into the organisation at a level that is considered best practice.
Specific Tasks:
- Ensure that the team and function continually exceeds best practice through:
- Development of staff and encouraging them to speak at external conferences;
- Tracking of tests being performed to ensure the process is being adhered to
- Represent Security Assurance to external organisations such as CREST and AISA.
- Continually develop and refine the teams processes
- People leadership and administrative tasks to support individuals in the team
The Ideal candidate will have
- Strong technical experience and understanding of information security management systems
- Ability to develop processes, procedures and standards to deliver security management services and capabilities
- Strong knowledge information security policy and governance
- Provide leadership to security subject matter experts in the area of security management and governance
- Ability to track multiple tasks at any given time
- Tertiary qualification in computer-related discipline
- Industry qualifications, memberships and certifications
