Direct Sales role available working with a large software company based in Melbourne, this position will be taking care of both existing and new clients. The position will be responsible for a defined territory and will be supported by pre-sales and marketing resources. Due to this the position may require frequent travel customer site both within Melbourne , inter state and International.
Responsibilities include:
- Initiate contact and develop relationships with existing customers and new prospects
- Qualify sales opportunities tightly and provide weekly forecast and pipeline reports
- Identify sales opportunities and deliver well crafted sales proposals with a view to eventual sales closure
- Achieve targeted sales goals
- Work closely with the pre-sales and marketing staff to identify high probability sales opportunities and run demonstrations with prospective clients.
Skills to succeed include:
- Experience in Business Intelligence ,ERP or related products
- Strong history working in rostering across healthcare, emergency services or similar environment
- Demonstrate a past record in successful enterprise direct sales
- Excellent communication skills
- Understanding of and experience in the IT industry, preferably software.
