Pre-Sales Consultant
Software company based in Melbourne is seeking Pre-Sales Consultant to work closely with sales team to promote and present our clients software to prospective clients. This role will involve some travel to client sites but will be based in the Melbourne Office and will be a key member of growth.
 
Responsibilities include:
 
  • Developing an understanding of the client's software range
  • Heading up demonstrations with prospective clients to promote and assist with the sale of software
  • Running assessment consultancy projects with prospective clients
  • Provide technical input into tender and other proposals
  • Develop and maintain a library of demonstration databases to be used to support customer demonstrations
 
Skills required:
 
  • Strong technical skills and experience in database deployment and management ( SQL Server )
  • Experience with service delivery, deployment , pre-sales or support of a payroll or HRIS application
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Background working in a sales environment
