Our client, a well respected government division is currently looking for a Test Analyst based on the inner north side of Brisbane to work on a 4 month contract for an upcoming project.

The objective of this project will be to successfully replace an existing system and replace with a web-based system.

The role will see you performing a range of testing activities including developing and executing test cases to test the business requirements for the upcoming system in readiness for User Acceptance Testing and the System Go-Live.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, develop and execute test cases to test the business requirements;
• Test system functionality, integration points, and data migration;
• Logging of all testing errors and defaults;
• Communicate with all staff and business representatives, stakeholders to advise of issues and to ensure that a robust application is delivered.

Experience:

• Testing for web-based, .NET applications;
• Testing a financial system (with a general ledger structure);
• Ability to work within a structured methodology for development, testing and implementation of software;
• Understanding of quality assurance activities and processes;
• Scheduling work and delivering to agreed plans;
• Working in software development project teams;
• Testing software products, including HP Quality Centre.
