As a Test Analyst your responsibility will be to provide effective quality control activities of verification and validation to ensure that the requirements for developing, building and releasing information products are met in an accurate and timely manner.
Your Responsibilities
- Identify and define appropriate test scenarios, test cases and test plans with traceability to business and/or functional requirements;
- Identify, gather and manage the test data required to execute these test scenarios & cases;
- Conduct accurate test execution to verify target test items, recording and analysing the outcomes of the testing and provide test results in the form of status reports and Summary reports to the Test Lead and Business Representatives;
- Discover and raise bugs or clarify issues including traceability to requirements and plans as appropriate;
- Regularly communicate activity progress to test team lead as evidenced through one-on-one and test team meetings;
Your skills
- Passionate attention to detail;
- Very good analytical skills with an enquiring mind;
- Exceptional and demonstratable experience using SQL language skills to query relational databases,
- Ability to construct testing activities with the minimum external inputs;
- Understanding of associative data models and non-relational databases;
- Demonstrated experience in testing disciplines to a demonstrated proficient level, including requirements review, test case/script design and authoring, data mining, defect logging and test status reporting;
- Demonstratable experience with test management tools, specifically HP - Quality Center;
- Experience with version control systems, specifically Subversion
