Are you an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager looking for a contract or permanent opportunity working with a leading Australian Financial Organisation? The do we have an opportunity for you!
The successful candidate will be required to:
- Actively manage projects throughout the full project life cycle
- Ensure that the project is executed in line with project minimum standards
- Reliably report performance against project plan and budget
- Deliver the business outcomes of the project
- Deliver the IT components of the project
- Organise and lead teams of project resources to develop and implement the project
- Balance the differing needs of the project stakeholders
- Ensure that the project benefits plan is delivered
- Establish appropriate project or program governance
- Anticipate project issues and risks managing resolutions and mitigation strategies
- Escalate project issues and risks where appropriate
- Manage relationships with key project stakeholders
- Manage project change holding baseline plans wherever possible
- Manage suppliers involved in the delivery of projects
Essential:
- Extensive PM experience on predominantly Infrastructure projects or programs
- PMP certification or equivalent
- Strong working knowledge in end to end life cycle management
- Demonstrated experience in project planning and scheduling, estimating, resourcing and budgeting, risk assessment and management
- Communication and influencing skills to ensure project visibility and support
Desirable:
- PM experience on multi-disciplinary, large scale projects or programs
- IT background outside of pure project management
- Experience in Cisco network infrastructure, telecommunications, VMWare, storage and data management solutions
- Consulting and facilitation experience
- Experience of Business Case creation
