Due to a number of high profile mergers in recent years, the organisation is currently undergoing a number of complex IT migration/transition projects.
This programme has been set up to change the way the organisation uses data to become customer centric. It will provide a robust, cohesive enterprise information management environment that will improve data quality.
Job Purpose:
To deliver definition and leadership to a highly complex, large and ambiguous program of work from which full business benefits realisation will be obtained by completion of the program itself.
Major Accountabilities of this position:
- Ensuring the program remains relevant in the Business/Organisational context
- Ensuring that the programs consequences & impacts have been fully identified & understood
- Ensuring controls are in place to keep the program on track
- Ensuring the correct people capability to deliver program outcomes
- Assisting with the creation of the businesses future capability for delivering successful project outcomes
Knowledge and experience required:
Demonstrated experience in leading & achieving results from highly complex, large & ambiguous programs of work with many of the following characteristics:
- cost > $10M and <$20M)
- duration >12 months
- virtual team members >15 and <=200
- At least 5 streams of concurrent activities and/or multiple projects changing business outcomes and capability
- Potential for error or failure needing constant action
- Requiring the continual alignment of multiple stakeholders around the required program/business outcomes
- Program expected to change the organizational rules, approaches & behaviours beyond tasks & processes
- Experience in working in a large, complex organisation
- Demonstrated ability to understand the differing business strategies & practices that exist within a large organisation
- Desirable - AIPM / PMI accreditation
