A leading Australian Telecommunications Brand, is seeking a Pricing Data Analyst to join their team on a 6 month contract.
As Pricing Data Analyst, you will be required to perform customer value analytics to identify market opportunities. Your primary focus will be to turn customer data into customer knowledge by extracting and manipulating data to ensure the organisations pricing strategies are based on informed decisions.
Specific tasks will include data analysis, assessing data needs, data extraction, reporting design, report development report testing and implementation. You will also be required to analyse, identify, rectify, and cleanse data in current operational systems.
Essential skills and experience:
- Ability to develop relationship databases and create/adapt queries as necessary to enable variations on pricing hypotheses.
- Strong analytical ability.
- Experience working with the latest SAS programming tools.
- Passionate about data - any exposure to Data Mining is also highly regarded.
- Previous pricing experience
- Previous telecommunications experience is desirable.
