Our reputable telecommunications client is currently seeking a Technical Support Specialist who will be providing day to day support focusing on Linux Servers. The initial contract is for a 6 month period with extension possible.
You will have extensive Linux experience with solid perl scripting skills!
Essential Skill and Experience -
- Technical Qualification in Telecommunications Engineering or Similar
- Significant demonstrable experience in deploying and supporting Linux, Solaris systems
- Significant demonstrable experience in system design role
- Demonstrable Shell and Perl scripting skills
- Experience with IP related components ie routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers
- Experience in an ISP environment
- In depth knowledge of Server Platform Technologies
