Responsibilities:

• Manage projects, service requests, changes and incidents relating to Corporate IT;
• Contribute to the design, implementation and management of servers and storage management systems;
• Manage and support the network including both the LAN and WAN and ensure a fully functional and high performance network;
• Maintain network and tailor to business and operational requirements;
• Control the network user access function and ensure system security and protection of confidential information at all times;
• Provide 1st, 2nd & 3rd level support for the business in line with internal standards;
• Maintain server room and assist with server outages and faults;
• Support the IT Manager in all aspects of the IT function;
• Assist with the IT application when required to enable fully functional and high performing IT systems;

Key requirements:

• Experience with administration and support of XenApp and XenDesktop Citrix virtualisation tools essential
• Relevant tertiary qualifications / industry certifications
• Ability to identify and resolve network faults and problems;
• Exceptional knowledge of WAN, LAN and windows server environment - Microsoft/Cisco/HP
• General knowledge of the IT application;
• High level IT and network problem solving skills; and
• Strong network planning and mapping skills
• Ability to work autonomously on IT projects
• Exceptional communication skills
• VMware exerience
• SCCM and/or SCOM
