Key responsibilities:
- Co-ordinate and deliver systems support as per Support Methodology;
- Liaise with systems users and business managers;
- Manage projects, service requests, changes and incidents relating to Corporate IT;
- Contribute to the design, implementation and management of servers and storage management systems;
- Capacity planning of system usage;
- Contribute to the development and operational support of Disaster Recovery plans;
- Resolve system support issues;
- Collect statistics on system related support activities;
- Conduct user training programs in effective use of systems;
Key requirements:
- Previous experience providing support in a professional services environment essential
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or equivalent experience;
- Microsoft certification ie. MCSE;
- VMware certification ie. VCP;
- Expertise in Windows operating systems;
- Considerable expertise with high availability, Corporate Enterprise environments;
- Expertise in the installation, testing, delivery, integration and support of Microsoft infrastructure applications, including Active Directory, DHCP, DNS;
- Expertise with supporting a Virtualised environment based on VMware Infrastructure;
- Expertise in automating processes through scripting;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Strong team relationship & mentoring skills & customer service mentality;
- Project management skills;
