Seeking an Enterprise System Administrator for a 3-month contract at a large Government Organisation based in the West End. This role has the potential to become permanent at an A06 level.
You will become part of the Information Services Team providing implementation and maintenance services to over 9 regional offices throughout Queensland. A key component of this role is providing advice and assistance to the Helpdesk and Desktop support staff to resolve user issues with Ms Win 7 and Office 2010.
Experience required for this position:
- Minimum 3 years + working in an Enterprise Systems Admin role
- Microsoft Certification in Systems Administration (MCSA, MCSE)
- Experience in DNS, DHCP, and other Domain services
- Experience in VMWare VSphere 4.1 or 5
- Experience in HP Storage Solutions
- Experience creating, configuring and troubleshooting Groups Policies
- Experience with Enterprise backup solutions.
- Experience with Windows 7 and Office 2010
- Experience working in an ITIL environment
- Capable of after-hours work for Change Management
- Understanding of network technologies and VLANs
- Exchange 2007\2010
- HP hardware and software - HPSIM
This position will provide a leadership role to the Infrastructure Team and will work closely with the Infrastructure Manager. A valid drivers licence is required for travel to the regional offices. Travel logistics will be arranged by the Organisation.
No vehicle parking is available on site - but space can be negotiated for a push bike or motorbike. Parking is available within a 10 minute walk, and a bus service is available within a close walking distance.
