Release Manager
An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a leader in the energy industry in Melbourne's CBD. Our client is looking for outgoing, professional, dynamic individual to join their team as a release manager.
The purpose of the role is to;

ensure the sustainability of the release management process "
develop the mission, description, and process objectives for the release management process "
gain approval for the release management process and its related procedures and policies "
run the process of Release Management ensuring a smooth transition of all changes into BAU operations "
be a committed and focussed team member and a key part of the Business Technology Team.
Principal Tasks and Responsibilities:
"
Supports the release life-cycle manager with adequate resources to design the process. "
Arbitrates and resolves possible disputes over resource allocations. "
Develops metrics to measure the success of the release management process. "
Monitors and reviews the execution of the process. "
Ensures coordination with other parts of BT and management processes. "
Communicates the release management process to promote awareness and acceptance of the process to other stakeholders. "
Determines the release schedule. "
Ensures that agreed-upon service levels are met via the release schedule and release plan(s). "
Advises senior management on release windows. "
Ensures testing requirements are met. "
Works with the service-level-management process (SLM) to support and meet appropriate service levels. "
Manages the master release schedule. "
Audits and manages the release management life cycle continuously. "
Participates in the change advisory board (CAB) to assess and authorise changes. "
Provide outstanding leadership and focus in relation to positive behaviours towards both internal and external customers. "
Contribute to an environment that embraces change opportunities and which is conducive to the achievement of high levels of professionalism, business continuity, customer satisfaction, and business KPIs. "
Actively seeks to improve others skills and talents by providing constructive feedback, coaching and training opportunities. "
