This well reputed client is looking for a Desktop Support Officer with a strong customer focus and a "can do" attitude. The main focus of the role is to provide Level 2 operational support as well as strategic and process improvement initiatives to a major Brisbane based company.
Your main responsibilities will be :-
- Provide desktop support at the customer site with a focus on meeting SLAs,
- Excellent written and oral communication skills,
- Strong ability to work autonomously but also so work effectively within a team environment,
- Experience with installations, projects and successfully completing major independent tasks,
- Prepare documentation of operational manuals,
- Installation of new products and equipment.
In order to apply for this role you must possess:
- Demonstrated experience in 2nd Level Desktop Support in troubleshooting / maintaining PCs in a Windows environment
- Experience with installations, proposals, projects and successfully completed major independent tasks
- Confidence to run meetings and liaise with major clients
- Experience within an outsourcing organization
- Exposure to ITIL and the CA range will be looked upon favorably
- A Criminal Record History Check is a requirement of this role
