We are seeking an experienced Computer Technician to join a team that deals mostly with small businesses that do not have an internal IT department.
Your range of duties will include the supply and installation of new servers and workstations, internet issues to PC reinstalls and virus removals. You will be involved with building of all Servers & PC's.
To be successful in this position, you will have the following skills and experience:
- Experience with Windows XP & Windows 7
- Scanning PC's for viruses
- Reinstalling PC's
- PC diagnostics
- End User support
- It is essential that you have previous experience in assembly of new computer systems and installing software..
Preferred skills:
- Experience with Trend Micro & Symantec Antivirus/Antispam Software.
- Experience with Symantec Backup Exec
- SBS 2003/2008
Part of your role will be problem solving therefore good communication skills are essential. You will be a people person who is professional and is eager to provide good customer service. You will be reliable enough to work on your own. We are looking for someone who wants to succeed and show that they can take on more responsibility.
Must have drivers licence and your own car.
It is essential that you have proven commercial experience.
