Our client is a small specialised software company responsible for developing their own in-house software. Due to company growth they are looking to bring on a permanent Application Support Officer to accommodate their expanding client base.
These roles will be responsible for providing timely and effective support to all existing and prospective customers and clients. As Level 2, you will act as an efficient and effective escalation point to all calls and will ensure you are providing support and problem resolution to the company's developed software.
Duties will include:
- Resolving of any escalated issues efficiently;
- Testing of new software releases;
- Effectively handling all client enquiries;
- Migrating clients from existing software to new releases;
- Installations and upgrades of company software;
- ADSL/Wireless troubleshooting.
Skills:
- Experience working in a Support Desk role;
- Experience in using remote access technologies (VNC, RDP etc);
- Exposure to SQL and Access Database;
- Printer support (driver install/upgrades);
- Excellent communication skills;
- Ability work effectively as part of a team.
