As a Reporting Analyst, you will need to have the ability to wear various hats!
This includes the ability to deliver news that people don't want to hear.
Not only to work with data on one level but turn it on it's head, see patterns and identify opportunities to reduce re-occurrence of the same issue but escalate for root cause analysis.
Junior - Mid level position.
Can you....
- Design, report on framework and reports - data requirements, sources, security integration, system performance how this impacts end user experience.
- Use MS Excel / MS Office suite of products
- Use MS Excel, SQL Reporting Services & publish through various technologies, such as SharePoint portal or other COTS reporting packages, both dynamic real-time as well as snapshot based reporting.
- Work in an ITIL framework?
Be responsible for:-
- Document reporting framework components to include:- integration points between systems within the Reporting Framework, data dictionaries and schemas utilised to establish common vocabulary, co-ordination and development of reports supporting business requirements
- Write reports in online and exportable format against various database platforms or other data sources such as Remedy data cubes (eg. MS SQL Server)
- Continuous improvement
- Maintain all documentation associated with reports
- Assist in service delivery review, analysis and quality assurance
- Coordinate with engineers to identify opportunities for process automation or enhancement perform additional analysis as requested
Degree and / or mid level experience.
