As the Desktop Support / IT All rounder you will be involved in providing service and support to workstations, servers, printers, networks, and vendor specific hardware and software. Responsibilities will be to:
- IT support relating to technical issues involving Microsoft's core business applications, as well as virtual environments built on Citrix and Microsoft. Must at least be able to set up accounts and user login through XenApp
- Support services for Microsoft related technologies: Windows Server, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, etc.
- Telephony support relating to technical issues and performing simple moves, adds and changes
- Work with telecommunications carriers for troubleshooting of voice and data circuits
- Implement and support disaster recovery solutions
- Technical services and support at the network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security
- Remote access solution implementation and support: VPN, Terminal Services, and Citrix
- Monitor the remote monitoring and management system alerts and notifications, and respond accordingly through service tickets
