Our reputable telecommunications client is currently seeking an experienced Java Software Engineer to join their team on an initial 6 month contract.
As the successful candidate you will be working in the Portal Development Team. You will be responsible for providing technical leadership in meeting project deliverables, you will also need to provide assistance and guidance to other Software Engineers.
Essential Skills and Experience -
- Java (J2SE) - 5+ years
- Software development experience in a large and complex IT&T environment - 2+ years
- J2EE (JMS, Servlets, JNDI, EJB, JDBC)
- Knowledge of Core J2EE and OO Design Patterns
- Web Services: SOAP, XML, XSLT, Axis and related technologies
- Spring MVC framework
- Hibernate
