As a senior SQL DBA, you will be providing database support for a variety of client server systems. If successful, your responsibilities will include:-

• Analysis, Design and Build of Production Databases
• Analysis and Troubleshooting of Production Databases Incidents and Issues
• Support coverage on a 24x7 rostered basis
• Delivery of technology solutions to agreed timeframes
• Delivery of technology solutions against agreed measures of quality
• Provide project deliverables in accordance with guidelines set out in the BT-HCL master document
• Provide support for deliverables during the testing cycles (ST and UAT)

To be considered for this role, you must have a strong mix of the following skills:-

• A tertiary degree in computer science or similar technology qualification and suitable level of financial industry.
• The candidate will be a self-starter who is able to work with minimal supervision and have:
• good personal (business/client) presentation and relationship skills
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in Production Support environment
• Strong SQL Skills
• Strong Performance and Tuning Skills
