Long term contract opportunity for an experienced reports developer!

You will work with Subject Matter Experts, Business Analysts and other Business Intelligence Developers to analyse, develop and test both maintenance and enhancement requests for the end user tool, Report Builder.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Conduct business reporting analysis and document reporting requirements;
• Develop reports using MS SQL Server Report Builder;
• Implement and test MS SQL Server Report Builder solutions;
• Ensure appropriate documentation of activities is completed as a deliverable of each activity;
• Plan and undertake verification testing activities for implemented components to ensure the software is complete and meets business requirements;
• Write end user documentation and training materials;
• Actively participate in the identification and management of risks and issues;
• Transfer appropriate knowledge and skills to other team members and permanent staff as required;

You will have the following experience:

• Exceptional knowledge of database structures;
• Expert in MS SQL Server Reporting Services and Report Builder skills
• Ability to use advanced features in MS Excel;
• Capability to investigate and solve complex problems;

Experience within a business intelligence team with the following exposure would be advantageous:

• systems development;
• report design and construction;
• analytical query design and construction;
• data modelling and data cube design; and
• data warehousing.
