Your role:
- Work within Implementation team to deliver solutions configured with clients software that meet or exceed client expectations.
- Work as a member of multidisciplinary team fostering teamwork and communication throughout the project life cycle.
- Actively participate in requirements gathering sessions with clients to ensure the best outcome for client is met along with working towards the strength of the clients software.
- Operate within the Help Desk team as required to quickly and accurately determine the likely cause of configuration or software issues, and provide a suitable solution to the identified issues
- The ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively to business users.
- Ability to effectively prioritise and escalate customer concerns and opportunities.
- Clear, concise, high quality written and verbal communication skills.
Key Accountabilities:
- Gather and analyse client needs and documents these as requirements.
- Develop detailed cost and resource effort estimates based on client requirements.
- Configure solutions using the clients software to suit client specific business process needs.
- Undertake unit testing of all configuration & technical work undertaken.
- Install software within client environments.
- Participate on system testing within Quality Assurance team as instructed by Management.
To be successful for this role, you will have the following skills:
- Prior experience and a diploma/degree in a computer related discipline
- Demonstrated experience configuring and supporting ERP or similar software packages in an enterprise environment
- Experience writing and supporting database generated reports using reporting tools such as Crystal Reports, Cognos or similar
- Prior experience supporting database based applications and ability to program and support these applications in MS SQL and Oracle
