This established Australian financial and wealth management organisation is looking for an experienced Analyst with Cognos Planning experience who is keen to build their career and contribute to the organisation's success. The aim of the role is to provide operational support for the Cognos Planning application. This will involve granting of security access and maintenance of chartfields and some enhancement and development work. In addition you will:

• Provide operational support:
• Take ownership of maintenance and security set-up, including the maintenance of security configuration within the Cognos Planning application and the granting of access to all levels of users, including senior management
• Performance of day to day maintenance related activities for all Cognos Planning models. This will involve keeping abreast of changes being made within PeopleSoft General Ledger to ensure they are reflected in Cognos.
• Undertake and/or assist with various month end processes relating to Cognos Planning -Reconciliation model
• Work with the Cognos team to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective action where reconciliations have identified errors with chartfield set-up.

You will bring to the role:

• Solid experience in supporting Cognos Planning back end
• Methodical approach for all chartfield and security set-ups
• At least 3 years relevant system accounting experience including a good understanding of budgeting and forecasting processes and tools.
• Experience in COGNOS/TM1/PeopleSoft applications is desirable
• IT experience and ideally some Accounting exposure
