We are looking for a highly motivated SOE Architect to manage and monitor the SOE projects implementations and activities.

About the Role:
Manage and monitor the Standard Operating Environment (SOE) projects implementations and activities for the delivery of a Desktop Managed Service and to provide leadership, support and guidance to the SOE team to aid the delivery of all desktop solutions.
As the SOE Architect you will be responsible for:
- Develop, document, implement and maintain the desktop standard operating environments (SOEs)
- Design SOE models for image deployment, software integration and delivery, inventory and reporting and ongoing maintenance.
- Research new technologies for incorporation into future desktop SOE designs.
- Packaging of desktop applications for integration into software delivery systems.
- Develop training material and perform training of internal Desktop Support engineers.

The ideal Candidate will have:
- 4 years of managing and supporting desktop hardware and software
- 2 years experience in SOE design, development and implementation
- Exposure to Application Packaging
- Microsoft deployment methodologies for Windows XP and Windows Vista
- Exposure to the processes of Incident, Problem, Change and Configuration Management.
- Professional documentation skills for use in customer proposals, user training and technical documents.
- General knowledge of varying desktop, laptop, mobility and peripheral devices.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for software conflicts.
