Java J2EE Developer - 3 month assignment

Global service provider need a developer for 3 months then go on holidays!!!!

  • Apache Hibernate
  • J-Unit Unit Test Framework
  • Agile development methodologies
  • Database (IBM DB/2) and Web Service (SOAP/HTTP) Integration experience

What you will be doing...

Work closely and collaborative with the client to develop Client Business Applications using the Java Enterprise Edition (JEE) platform.

Primarily role will involve:

  • Translating client system requirement documents such as Use Cases and User Specifications into JEE Web Applications;
  • Development of JEE Web and Portlet based applications using the IBM WebSphere Portal Server and IBM WebSphere Application Server;
  • Application of coding standards to all produced source code;
  • Use of framework such as Spring, Hibernate, JSR-168 Portlet specification, Spring Webflow, Maven build system and the J-Unit Test framework;
  • Participate in code-review sessions and workshops as required.
