Working as a member of the Fixed Income Application Support team, this is an exciting opportunity for the right individual to work closely with the business and gain a deep understanding of the Fixed Income products and product flows. Responsibilities include:

• Providing production support and technology solutions for the Fixed Income business primarily taking ownership of the application Quantum from Sungard for bonds
• Providing trade floor support using Excel VBA
• Ensuring consistency and quality of systems for the Fixed Income business
• Being a readily accessible resource for the dealing room to ensure the business can easily submit requests and be updated with progress on a daily basis
• Liaising with other support areas within Technology to escalate and help resolve issues

Key requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Business Information Technology or equivalent preferred
• Experience supporting Quantum application from vendor Sungard for bonds
• An excellent understanding of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access and VBA
• Good knowledge of relational databases (SQL / Oracle / Sybase)
• Good understanding of the finance industry, preferably Fixed Income
• Good understanding of the product bonds, being able to book a trade
