Our client is a leading service provider of business, information technology and communications solutions. As the third largest ICT Company in the Australian and New Zealand marketplace, they partner with their customers to consult, design, build, operate and support business solutions.
We are assisting them to find a Tivoli Specialist to join their Canberra based Business Applications Support team.
The successful candidate will be required to:
- Maintain architecture, middleware and operating software of the SOA environments. This includes rostered on-call support out of hours.
- Provide advice and support to the SOA Configuration Control Board and related personnel on the operation, maintenance and enhancements to the environments.
- Apply application configuration management and control to all aspects of the support of the SOA environments, including management of incidents, changes and releases.
- Provide technical advice and assistance regarding the integration and development of eBusiness and SOA functions.
- Transfer knowledge to Australian Public Service (APS) staff
Skills and experience required:
- Experience in service delivery environment (Desirable).
- IBM Tivoli Access Manager for eBusiness (Essential)
- IBM Tivoli Identity Manager (Essential)
- IBM Tivoli Directory Integrator (Very Important)
- IBM Tivoli Directory Server (Very Important)
- XML (Important)
- IBM DB2 (Important)
- Java(Important)
- PKI (Important)
- VMware ESX (Desirable)
- Tertiary qualification related to IT industry (or equivalent certifications) preferred although could be moving towards a recognised internal / external qualification.
- Understanding of ITIL processes (configuration management, change management, release management, incident management).
- Planning, scheduling, estimating, progress monitoring, measurement and reporting of own work.
- Understanding of business continuity processes.
- Be able to establish quick working relationships/empathy with customers.
- Ability to communicate clearly with customers, colleagues and managers.
- Understand and resolve basic problems.
- Flexible approach and ability to work well under pressure.
