This Top Tier Telco has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer/Developer to work on the build of a new series of environments within Amazon Web Services.
You will be deploying the latest open source applications and developing processes to scale the environment as required. Working within a top-performing and highly-regarded team, you will take ownership of the development and implementation of deployment and upgrade processes.
You'll be working in an agile environment with other infrastructure engineers and the application developers to streamline the delivery of new environments.

Essential Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years experience working in a
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Strong system administration skills on UNIX (preferably red hat/ubuntu). (kernel, processes I/O, file trees)
- Familiar with UNIX shells and shell scripting
- Perl experience desirable
- Good security and networking knowledge. (right , policies, secure connections, firewalls, backup, recovery)
- Familiar with open source system monitoring tools.
- Comfortable installing/configuring and monitoring a wide variety of software (Apache 2, tomcat, postgres, memached)
- Git experience well regarded
- Proactive with analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
